wimax is not 4G. it even shows up with the wifi icon when it's connected. LTE is a real ITU standard that will eventually pave the way for real 4G

Bought the white iPhone for the missus because she couldnt wait for iphone 5 and I cant tell the difference side by side with my black one. Even bought a bumper that was available before the white one was released, and guess what? The white iPhone slips in perfectly.

AT&T's HSPA+ can pull down 21 MB theoretically. 4x faster than HSPA 7.2.
The theoretical never actually happen though. That's why I'd take a superior network standard with a lower frequency, and thus better building penetration, any day.

as others have mentioned, i'm a little surprised that only the 17inch model has a 7200rpm drive option. i'm going to check with apple directly to see if i can get a custom 15inch with a 7200 drive. my audio apps don't work well with the anything slower.
having said that, the ram, fw800 and dual layer burner are a nice addition

They're really shy at first, like any animal. But when they warm up to you they are extremely loving and loyal but they get jealous if there are other animals around that get any attention.
I had one before with an ex and we had him in an apartment, no problem. He was very easy to train and I was extremely impressed by that. They aren't loud by any means and in this case they max out at 12" from the front paws to the back of the head and weigh ~12 lbs.

yeah that's not a bigadv unit. i think you have to download the correct binary before you can use the -bigadv flag (i think). just take a look at stanford's web page for instructions.
I thought I did everything right but... I did find that it was running another wu on 8 cores after I set it up, duh. Fixed that but it still won't pick up the bigadv so I thought maybe they are out of them? it will pick up normal wu's if it can't get bigadv one's. And maybe I need more than 6 GB of ram?

Why won't this rumor die?! Seriously. It makes MUCH more sense to make a set top box that is compatible with any tv, and thus have wider appeal and adoption than to make a TV that has to compete with every other TV manufacturer out there. This is not Apple's game. Their game it to look at a market that is not currently being exploited to its full extent, figure out what people may want, then come in and redefine that niche. Worked with the iPod, iPhone, and iPad. There were predecessor in each of these markets but Apple came in and completely dominated it because they redefined it and tied it into a (relatively) easy to use ecosystem. Ok, it a really easy to use ecosystem, just slow and bloated. :D

So many Mac users are completely ignorant and oblivious to the fact that their Mac is, contrary to popular belief, not that secure in some respects. Many Mac zealots and apologists will tout how bullet-proof OS X is, how it's nothing like Windows, how it's amazingly secure - well, it isn't in some cases.
Sure, it's still better in many respects than Windows, but Mac users should not be lured into a false sense of security over these matters. They need to be smart with their systems and not take anything for granted. Hopefully reports like this will assist those people in seeing the light. As Mac marketshare increases and more of a spotlight is put on OS X, it will attract more people who will try and exploit security vulnerabilities and so forth, so now more than ever this type of information needs to be made known. And more importantly, Apple needs to agressively address such matters timely and effectively.
