In the newest issue of Cosmo, on stands this week, Ashley spills about her new album, Guilty Pleasure.
"It's edgy, an ablum to rock out to," spills the They Came From Upstairs actress. In one track, "Hot Mess," Tisdale sings about hanging with a motorcycle-driving bad boy who makes life a little more fun. On another, "How Do You Love Someone?" she channels the anxieties of a girl who has watched her parents split up and treat each other badly. Her new songs are a far cry from Sharpay Evans.
"With this album, Ashley developed an independence. Instead of just making the typical rythmic dance-sounding pop record, she came in and said, 'I want to do something that has guitar, drums, and a little more edge." says Tom Whalley, CEO and chairman of her record label, Warner Bros. Records.
I seriously cannot wait for this album!!!
