Boy do I have a HOT remix for ya'll. You may remember when I posted about "Silly Girl," a new Benny Blanco-produced jam from UK singer/songwriter Neon Hitch. The slick dubstep track was co-written by Hitch and Switch (haha - Hitch & Switch) and sounds very reminiscent of Robyn. This version of "Silly Girl" features a guest rap by American rapper Wale and unlike most rapper remixed tracks, Wale's verse actually enhances the original. Given that the original has so little in the way of vocals and melody, adding a rapper actually adds more substance to the track. HOT HOT HOT. Look out for Hitch's debut album, Beg, Borrow and Steal, later this year on Warner Brothers/Reprise Records. Download Hitch's "Get Over U" EP, including remixes by Borgore, Dave Nada and Juan MacLean, on iTunes HERE.
