Try enabling Certificate Revocation checking on your fully updated Mac OS X install and see how long it takes for Mac App Store to show up and how long it then takes to go through the various tabs.
Also for fun - try enabling password for the screensaver and 60 minute idle logout. Then put your laptop to sleep and come back 60 min later only to have hung login window that accepts no input - works that way every time for me.
For all the jabs they took at Windows - Apple's is most untested OS after Linux distros. Looks like they only do surface tests - only the defaults are covered.

Good, bad, right or wrong, Apple is not going to release any new hardware until it rolls out its "cloud." And after it flips the switch on the cloud, there will be a month or two or three of integrating the cloud into existing hardware before they roll out anything new.

You are exactly what the forums needed to deal with the wave of spammers that have been striking as of late. I remember one member in particular (I won't name which one) had a post average of over 60 per day shortly after being banned. I know this because I checked that user's profile. 60 per day is almost surely spamming when even Mr. Anderson can't manage more than 16 legitimate posts per day - I haven't found any more active member.

You should tell that to my wife who has an Android phone and finds that it doesn't really even seem to be well adapted to phone-related situations. She's constantly having problems with it, particularly with freeze-ups and crashing.
I think it's more truthful to phrase your sentence like this. "Android is a powerful mobile OS that can be shoehorned into many situations but can do none of them very well."

I saw a commercial for RIM's playbook the other day. It has some uniqueness to the interface. Sure all tablets are going to be similar to an extent but at least RIM tried to put a little originality into theirs unlike Samsung and their blatant copy of the ipad.

In Australia an 18 year old can drive, drink, vote (hopefully not all at the same time), so if the government considered my child an adult I guess I would too. In a situation like this though it all comes down to the young womans parents, so they would decide I guess!

I just set the multiplier to 48, core voltage to 1.35, everything else on auto and it just worked!
4.4GHz worked with stock voltages (the chips automatically over-volt themselves up to a point using a dynamic Vid)
I've since had to increase Vcore to 1.37 and Vtt to 1.21 to get the RAM to 1600.
However, i couldn't get any faster without much higher voltages (and heat!) - 4.9GHz required 1.5V. I think later bios versions with PLL over-volting work better, but I'm stuck with the old bios until Gigabyte release a Q-Flash version or I can work out how to do it in Linux.

In the world of print, there are two ways to receive newspapers and magazines: single copies on the newsstand, or via subscription delivery. Subscription delivery is traditionally a lot cheaper than via the newsstand. The main reason for that is because the publisher knows demographic information about you, and they use that information to attract advertisers to the publication. These publishers want to continue to encourage people to subscribe to their electronic version by offering a lower price... they can only afford to do this by continuing to collect demographic user information that they can use to attract advertisers who will subsidize the cost of the publication. They will probably offer single issues online (or maybe even subscriptions online) at higher prices than the normal subscription to people who don't share their information. Your information is worth money, they know that and their advertisers know that, and you should know that too. If you withhold your information, you are holding back money, and thus asking for something for less. (Will you get it? How nicely are you asking?)
All this talk about selling email addresses to third parties is speculation and red herrings. This is about subsidizing subscriptions and paying for content. It's the business of the subscription publishing industry, and Apple wants to change it. Man! I've got a lot to learn :o Thanks for sharing those figures. The frustrating thing is the pricing spectrum for design is so wide, it's hard for a beginner to get a decent idea of what to charge. I guess I have to look at as many pricing sources as possible and and try to distill some figures? I have the "Graphic Artist Guild" handbook, but those prices are through the roof. I imagine they're for seasoned professionals working for major clients. Thanks again!

I bet that I4 LTZ sells better than the V6 Fusion. V6's in mid-size sedans will become rare with CAFE. The new Malibu is supposed to be I4 only. The next-gen Fusion will also ditch the V6 from what I hear. Sonata already is I4 only.
Both the Sonata and the Malibu fail if compared to the Fusion, here at least. It is not about having a V6, but paying more for a same size car with same equipment but with 170hp as compared to 245, the latter wins. Plus the current Malibu is ugly as hell, let's face it. The new one might change those figures though. And if Hyundai sold the 200bhp Sonata here, I am sure it would be a win, even costing more than a V6 Azera, which is ridiculous.
