Lizzie McGuire first aired on January 12, 2001 during Zoog Disney. After a long three year run, 65 episodes, and a theatrical film, the show came to its end with it's last episode airing on February 14, 2004.
The young cast showed potential, but only one had the power to become a superstar. Miss Hilary Duff has become a household name since the show first aired. Since then, Duff has appeared in over twelve films including A Cinderella Story and Material Girls. Duff has also had an outstanding music career, releasing five albums, most recently Best of Hilary Duff, which features most of her greatest hits. Hilary is on her way back to the silver screen with an upcoming roll on the CW's Gossip Girl.
Lalaine Vergara-Paras, or simply Lalaine, played Miranda Sanchez, Lizzie's best friend. Lalaine left the show prior to the end, missing at least three episodes and the theatrical film, to star in the Disney Channel Original Movie, You Wish and to also start a music career. In 2003, Lalaine released her independent album, Inside Story. She later signed to Reprise Records, a part of Warner Brothers Records. After releasing her single, I'm Not Your Girl, in 2005, Lalaine slowing began to fade away. She most recently starred in the direct-to-dvd movie, Her Best Move, and the upcoming Royal Kill.
Adam Lamberg played Lizzie's best guy friend and love interest, David 'Gordo' Gordon. Not much can be said about his career since his days as Gordo. Lamberg has starred in the indie films When Do We Eat? and 2008's Beautiful Loser.
Jake Thomas is best know for his role as Matt McGuire, Lizzie's annoying little brother, but his has also made his way around the sivler screen, starring in shows such as CSI: Miami and Ghost Whisperer. Most recently, Jake went back to the Disney Channel starring the on the That's So Raven spin-off, Cory in the House, as Jason Stickler, the CIA/FBI obssesed classmate. Much like a few of his castmates, Jake has also attempted a music career, releasing a CD via his official website under an indie record label.
Carly Schroeder played the role of Matt's bossy friend, Melina Bianco. After Lizzie, Carly starred in a hand full of indie films, such as 2004's Mean Creek. She also starred in 2007's soccer film, Gracie.
Hallie Todd and Robert Carradine played the roles of Lizzie's parents. Since Lizzie, Robert Carradine has starred in many films like 2008's The 13th Alley. Hallie Todd really hasn't done much since the end of Lizzie McGuire. She appeared in an episode of Malcom in the Middle and the short-lived Brandy & Mr. Whiskers.
Kyle Downes played the role of geeky Larry Tudgeman. Most recently, Kyle starred in many tv shows, such as The L Word and The Collector.
Davida Williams, better know as Kate's sidekick, Claire Miller, has appeared in many shows and movies such as 2004's Raise Your Voice and 2009's American High School.
The rest of the cast, including Ashlie Brillault (Kate Sanders) and Clayton Snyder (Ethan Craft), have chose to live their live after Lizzie out of the spot light.
