When I heard the news that the new Britney Spears single (her fourth from Circus) would be "Radar," a track originally due to be released as the final single from Blackout, I was disappointed.
Now that I've had time to sit back and think about it a little more, I'm not as disappointed. Sure, Circus has many single-worthy tracks, but honestly, so did Blackout. Britney's label stopped promoting Blackout, instead putting their energy and funds into the making of Circus. This was probably a wise decision. I believe I read somewhere that "Radar" was included as a bonus track to satisfy some sort of contractual obligation that the label had with the producers and/or writers...something like that. I can't for the life of me find this article though, so if anyone knows what I'm talking about please send me a link!
