I'm getting excited for the upcoming Katie Melua gig on May 27th in Cambridge. Tickets are ordered and I've got a guest to join me. Katie is in the midst of her 18 city North American tour, hitting up my home town Chicago tomorrow night. 
Melua's team on Facebook posted video links today of a promotional appearance on Chicago's WGN Channel 9 morning news program. In addition to a short interview, Melua performed "Perfect Circle," of her latest album Pictures, recently released here in the U.S. Also posted was also web-exclusive performance of "Mary Pickford."I love a good intimate gig and this performance just makes me more excited. I'm just hoping the audience remains mellow and that no fist fights break out.
